Submission Preparation Checklist and Ethical Rules

Submission preparation checklist: As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm that their manuscript complies with all of the following items. Manuscripts that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the author(s) for correction.
  • The cover letter has been prepared in English using the official journal template and is submitted together with the manuscript.
  • The author(s) confirm that publication funding is available or that any request for a partial discount has been submitted before manuscript submission.
  • The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal (unless an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for all references have been provided.
  • The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the Instructions for Authors.
  • The text complies with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the author guidelines, which are available in the “For Authors” section.
  • By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) agree to the terms, conditions, editorial policies, publication fee, discount policy, manuscript withdrawal conditions, and ethical rules of Acta Tecnologia.

Ethical rules: The editorial office or the publisher may reject a manuscript if it is determined that the research was not conducted in accordance with appropriate ethical standards. Plagiarism in any form constitutes a serious violation of the fundamental principles of education, research, and scholarship and will not be tolerated. This policy applies to all authors, editors, and reviewers involved in the journal Acta Tecnologia (AT) and defines their ethical responsibilities. Ethical misconduct includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism, data falsification, fabrication of results, misuse of third-party materials, and fraudulent authorship. The publisher, 4S go, s.r.o., applies ethical principles to all its published journals in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Elsevier Publishing Ethics Resource Kit.
